Hi, I'm Sandra Wright. I cannot be called a Mini Widow because living in a house full of men it has always been a case of 'if you can't beat them - join them' - so that's just what I did. I have been happily married to Colin for 41 years (so yes I am one of the older committee members) and I have 3 sons, all married, Kevin, Stuart and Graeme and 5 wonderful grandchildren.
As a family we have always been into Mini's and Colin owned his first one over 40 years ago - 'the purple peril'. Things have progressed over the years and as a family we own 12 Mini's - 11 classic and one MINI. The only standard one amongst them is my 1965 Mk1 850cc super deluxe - nothing but the best! but even that is going to change as soon as I can get Colin out of the garage with his long on-going projects and get mine in. I have all the bits ready to restore it - just waiting for the all clear from Colin's second home. You will find me at many shows throughout the year so please come and say Hi.
