Hi Everyone,
I am delighted to tell you that all the planning for the L2B is going well, most LSMOC members and other mini owners will have received their tickets, but please do not worry if you have not, as we are still processing.
Because this is our 25th Anniversary run we are hoping to arrange some extra special things.
We will be opening Crystal Palace Park at 12 noon and having entertainment on the Saturday afternoon and evening.
This year again we are hoping to have the massive open air screening of a couple of films, but this cannot be confirmed until we have been granted the various licences.
We are also having the sound off again so maybe it is worth seeing if your mini has the power you imagine, there is also a trophy to be won, but if you just want advice then these are the people to go too. We also hope to have Palmer Bros and M & L Motorsports both are experts in their own field.
We will have some fun stuff such as the inflatable assault course, this is great fun, but take along someone to give you a push.
Also another great attraction from last year was the free Routemaster bus shuttle service and because it was so popular this year we have arranged for two buses. For any of you that missed out on this it goes into central London, so you could do some sightseeing and come back later for the films.
There will also be a Treasure Hunt in the park, so even the children can do it as there are no roads to cross and the winner will get a trophy. We also have new merchandise to sell as well as everyone’s favourite the flags.
Everyone is welcome to come to the park and to enjoy the various entertainment which we are providing. If you are not camping you will be able to park in the lower public car park, however if you do not have a ticket please do not try to come into the camping area with your mini, because this year we have a great many campers and will be marking each ticket so it cannot be passed to another person.
