After my boyfriend said that my new car had to be less than 10 years old & must have airbags, because of injuries I suffered from an accident, I went & bought a 1970 Mini!!
My Mini is called Felix, because he is black and white.
I kept saying that I wouldn’t become one of these Mini people who fill their Mini with a collection of teddies, but I seem to be developing quite a picnic.
I was asked to join the LSMOC committee late in 2011, and I joined as the Events Liaison thingy-me-bob. My main role is to assist with organising events, being the first point of contact to the public and ensuring all the correct details go in Mini Torque.
I have always had a passion for classic cars, in fact most things classic. Because of my passion for vinyl records and all things classic I’m constantly being told I was born in the wrong era.
