Do We Have Your Attention?

* Subject to doing some work of course!

The London To Brighton Mini Run is organised by LSMOC committee members, purely on a volunteer basis. Each member has a full-time job and other commitments to work around and this is why we need your help.

We answer over 100 emails a month, organise traders, merchandise, food trucks, road signs, ticket sales and much, much more...

The London To Brighton Mini Run attracts thousands of entries every year. With 2500 Minis and MINIS attending, organising stands, parking, camping, clubs and the public is a difficult challenge.

Are you great with people?
Do you have a love of all things mini?
Have excellent communication skills?
Able to work independently and with a team?

If so we would love to hear from you!

(LSMOC Paid members only)

In exchange for your time and commitment, we can offer the above perks and a great weekend! You can choose to help on the Saturday in Cheam Recreation Ground, the Sunday in Brighton or both!

You will be fully briefed beforehand and provided with a Hi-Vis and Marshals handbook

Being a marshal at the London To Brighton is an excellent way to support LSMOC and support our motto,

Roles At Cheam Recreation Ground

Parking Marshal

Parking marshals are an important asset at Cheam Recreation Ground, thousands of minis and MINIS need parking safely and appropriately to ensure smooth running of the entry and exit.

As cars arrive at Cheam Recreation Ground they need lining up in rows, leaving enough room for participants to pitch their tents in between. The parking can be fast paced and it's important to have a priority on safety not only to the participant but also their car.

The Parking Marshal role also includes assisting lining up the cars for exit on Sunday morning. The cars are directed row by row to line up. This will involve starting the movement of lines to the line up and blocking lines that have not yet been asked to move.

General Marshal

General Marshals are vital at Cheam Recreation Ground. You will be required to undertake general tasks and deal with any queries and guidance a participant might need. Some tasks you might be asked to do include -

> Topping up loo rolls
> General guidance and assistance
> Help with loading/unloading equipment
> Litter picking up at
Cheam Recreation Ground on Sunday
> Reporting of any issues to committee members

> Help out the parking marshals when things get busy

General Marshals enable us to keep the event running smoothly, creating an enjoyable experience for the veterans and newcomers.
